These paintings are inspired by the motion, colour palette and exuberant gestures of Rococo paintings by Boucher, Fragonard, and Le Moyne. My responses are painted rapidly and intuitively, trying to capture an essence of the paintings, revelling in gestural marks and brush strokes.
